Welcome to my personal blog, my name is Maxim. The blog is about systems development and applied IT solutions. Here I share my articles and original Open Source projects across various IT fields.
Development philosophy: all projects are built on full self-sufficiency (Zero Dependencies), native code and cross-platform support. All sources are open, come with benchmarks and are documented in detail for easy reproduction.
About me
25+ years in IT development and architecture. Working freelance. I help with projects as an analyst, programmer and consultant. Currently focused on three areas: native technologies, AI solutions for business and cybersecurity (infrastructure and servers).
Key skills
- Systems programming. Compact Windows/Linux modules with no external libraries or dependencies (custom allocators, MM managers, JSON/CSV/HTML parsers, regex engines, thread managers, pool systems).
- Network protocols. Implementing protocols from RFC specifications: TLS/SSL, HTTP/S, FTP/S, WebSocket, SOCKS5 and others.
- Cryptography. Implementing encryption and hashing: AES-GCM, SHA-256, RSA-2048, ECDHE, X25519 and others. Key and X.509 certificate generation.
- Local AI. Developing and optimizing neural networks (LLM, STT, TTS) for CPU/GPU purely in C/C++ and Python/PyTorch. Experience building autonomous offline assistants (pipeline: VAD → STT → LLM → TTS), AI agents.
- Graphics, rendering and Web. Low-level graphics (OpenGL, Vulkan, Canvas), procedural animation, 3D model parsing and document rendering engines (PDF, EPUB, Office). Integrating Chromium (CEF) in pure C and controlling it via DevTools Protocol.
- Web technologies. Web services in Go and C/CPP, web panels, embedding Chromium (CEF), browser control via DevTools Protocol, micro web services.
- Information security, Reverse Engineering. Developing honeypots with OS emulation, reversing application and service logic to recreate analogues, network fingerprinting systems (JA3/JA4, TCP/IP and others) for anti-bot solutions/user identification, C2 frameworks for pentesting (with position-independent shellcode agents) and anti-fingerprinting solutions.
- Windows native. Deep knowledge of Win32 API, WMI/COM, PE file structure, WASAPI and desktop software development.
- Engineering discipline. Cross-platform builds (MinGW/MSVC/CMake/Go), unit tests, stress tests, detailed bilingual READMEs with methods and benchmarks.
Technology stack
- Languages: C/C++, Golang, Python, Node.js, JavaScript, PHP, Delphi, QT.
- Low-level development: Full-cycle development in pure native code (Full Native Code), deep understanding of Windows and Linux OS architecture.
- Networking: In-depth knowledge of network protocols at all layers.
- Databases: Design, optimization and work with any DBMS type (SQL, NoSQL, Key-Value). Expert SQL.
- Web infrastructure and Full-stack: Building web services of any complexity (PHP/Go, JS, HTML, CSS), administering and fine-tuning Linux/Windows servers, Nginx and Apache web servers.
